I C Davison offers a comprehensive range of uPVC and timber-style windows, including casement, tilt-and-turn, and sash designs. Each product is manufactured locally to ensure energy efficiency, security, and durability, meeting British building regulations. Our windows feature double glazing, low-emissivity glass, and multi-point locking systems, providing thermal insulation, noise reduction, and enhanced home security for residential properties.
Doors
We supply and install high-security composite and uPVC doors, including front, French, patio, and bi-fold options. Our doors combine aesthetic appeal with robust construction, featuring reinforced frames, weatherproof seals, and advanced locking mechanisms. Designed for energy efficiency and ease of maintenance, they enhance property value while offering long-term durability and improved insulation for homes across County Durham.
Conservatories
Stormking creates bespoke conservatories in Victorian, Edwardian, and modern styles, tailored to complement existing properties. Constructed with durable materials and energy-efficient glazing, our conservatories provide year-round usability. Optional warm roof installations improve thermal performance, transforming these spaces into functional extensions that add light, space, and value to residential homes in the region.
Composite Doors
Our composite doors merge strength and style, crafted from reinforced materials resistant to warping, corrosion, and forced entry. Available in multiple finishes and designs, they offer superior insulation and security. Each installation includes precision fitting and hardware upgrades, ensuring enhanced curb appeal and long-term performance for homeowners seeking both aesthetic and functional improvements.
Replacement Conservatory Roofs
We replace outdated glass conservatory roofs with insulated warm roof systems, improving thermal efficiency and usability. This service includes structural reinforcement, insulation installation, and weatherproofing, allowing conservatories to be comfortably used throughout the year. The upgrade reduces energy costs and noise while maintaining natural light, transforming existing spaces into practical living areas.

Report
I C Davison did a superb job on the replacement of the frame of our already existing 17 year-old conservatory. Our old wooden frame was removed and replaced with mock sash windows in UPVC, finished in Agate. We opted for the soft roof finish with a velux window, and underfloor heating as an extra. Their attention to detail from start to finish was exceptional. We have been enjoying our new living space since the beginning of March and we're delighted with the finished result. We would highly recommend them.

Report
Had Graham round this morning to sort a couple of minor problems with our windows (we have a new build so these were just part of the snagging list). His timing was spot on- here at 10am on the dot even with the huge amount of snow and dangerous roads. He was very quick and had the jobs sorted within 20 minutes. Very friendly and polite- would definitely recommend.

Had two doors fitted this week and couldn't be happier. The fitters were very fast and tidy, the doors are finished to a really high standard and the price was very reasonable. Will be using again and would definitely recommend
