Established for over 30 years, since the mid 80's, PMS Fabrications has built a reputation as one of the leading UK manufacturers and installers of structural, architectural and secondary steelwork and installers of cladding systems. For many years PMS have been closely affiliated with some of the uk's leading house builders. Modern builds often incorporate many artistic metalwork features both internally and externally, creating a perception of space, shape and identity. PMS specialise in the design, detailing and fabrication of internal and external handrails, balustrades, staircases and balconies, along with sun room extensions. A galvanised and powder coated finish is specified thus ensuring the life span of the product we supply is maximized and the customer receives value for money.

Our experienced estimating team aim to provide a quick response and competitive price for most structural design schemes, we use our considerable combined knowledge of the steelwork industry to provide as accurate an estimate as possible that hopefully helps avoid unforeseen extras at the end of the contract. We specialise in structural steel take offs where 3D models can be produced at estimating stage to give the client a greater perspective for what is being proposed, these steelwork models increase the accuracy of our tender submissions and assist in the accurate budgeting of potential developments.

Our in-house team have many years of experience in concluding design details, contributing to the overall goal of design completion prior to construction. Our range of detailing works covers the whole of the construction sector. Whether it is a small handrail to a full design and build construction package we can accommodate all works as requested by our clients. Using the very latest Tekla and Strucad 3D design software, and with an extensive wealth of knowledge, PMS Fabrications design and drawing office will work with you the client, your architect, or design co-ordinator, in order to bring together and realise your desired project.

PMS Fabrication's installations are carried out by our own, directly employed staff, ensuring the highest quality of work. Each site team is headed by an experienced supervisor who co-ordinates with the contracts managers and other trades to ensure a timely installation is achieved.

At Cumbria's leading fabricators, PMS Fabrications Ltd specialise in Structural & Architectural Steelwork. Our areas of expertise include portal frame buildings, beam and column structures, mezzanine floors, platforms, access stairs, handrails and balustrades. We at PMS Fabrications have the capacity to fabricate up to 50te per week. With our Plasma Machine turning out fittings at an optimal rate it ensures our team of fabricators can concentrate on the assembly aspect of the process. We have our own in-house Inspection system and using StruCad section lists we are able to have full material tractability if needed.
