The British Drilling Association (BDA) is professional trade association formed in 1976, formed to look after the needs of the land drilling and geotechnical sector in its many formats. Over the years membership has expanded and now includes manufacturers; suppliers; laboratories; consultants, clients, trainers and surveyors. The BDA is an inclusive organisation and welcomes applications from any organisation that is involved in the UK land drilling / geotechnical sector, however the BDA do not cover petroleum and gas extraction operations.
