A lovely place with big diversity of plant species. Did not make it through the Glasshouses, unfortunately (which I've heard is one of the best features - hopefully next time).

This is such a great escape from the hubbub of the City, well laid out, with fascinating tree specimens, gorgeous shrubs and flowers and the uplifting sound of birdsong. The educational space is welcoming as is the shop. The whole space is constantly evolving. A huge thumbs up and gratitude for the availability of mobility scooters which makes the gardens and its delights accessible to those who otherwise would have lost out on the enriching experiences, that includes ability to attend events in e.g., Inverleith House, which we did (#pianodrome). and there was a wedding on too.

The Gardens are amazing. Sadly I didn't have enough time to see any more than a third of the area. I did visit the coffee shop/cafe in the centre of the Gardens & enjoyed the view with a cuppa & the company of many wonderful people doing the same. The shop at the entrance has a wonderful selection of gifts and I bought a few. Thanks for a wonderful morning of relaxation and discovery!
