Formed in 1990 at our original location at Station Road, Thorney, Peterborough, England, with one, 3 cubic metre readymixed truck, the company has expanded to total 15 plants, with an annual turnover of over £13 million per annum. The introduction of a pumping service in 1998 was a great asset to us and we are now the only supplier of both readymix and pumping service in the area, and the largest supplier of concrete pumping locally. We supply liquid screed also. In early 2003, we acquired Minimix Norfolk Ltd, based in Norwich, which had a strong presence in the Norfolk mini load market.
Description Readymix supply and pump supply to this concrete which was located inside the courtyard of these buildings directly below the end of the boom. The whole process took 30 minutes to transport 60 tonnes of concrete to the jobsite. Our 36 metre concrete pump pictured here is fitted with radio remote control which proved invaluable as the pump operator needed to be positioned on the building roof to see safely.
