Rachel and her team were very professional, highly experienced and knowledgeable. They worked with us from start to finish. Communication was excellent and they ensured everything ran smoothly. We now have a beautiful plant filled space which is bursting with life, colour and texture. Rachel helped us to thoughtfully reuse some of the pre- existing materials in the build. We would happily recommend Rachel and her team.
We had a shady dead zone that we handed over to Rachel to transform and what an amazing job she did. The design was a collaborative process, led by her deep knowledge of plants, her creativity and her good sense. The garden she designed is a perfect fit for our house and exactly met the remit. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and We would have no qualms recommending her every day of the week. You can trust her fully to deliver the garden you want.
I chose Rachel when I was looking for a garden designer partly because of her design skills but also her expertise in plants. She was extremely professional in crafting a layout which incorporated my own ideas with hers, making sure it would work with the realities of what we faced in the "garden" (ie space round the house filled with rubble and weeds over different levels!); very patient taking time to explain the choices for planting to deal with extreme exposure and hungry local wildlife (on a site visit one of the resident hares lolloped by with not a care in the world which really reinforced the issue!) Rachel rose to the challenge of creating a space that will have year-round interest, using a combination of planting, sculptural earthworks and art, that relates strongly to the wider landscape, is manageable and personal to me, but has the potential to be added to over time. She was not precious about the available budget and using my own contractors, but also got trade deals from nurseries for the plants I needed. and then came round with a team on a weekend to plant them! All in all a great experience - looking forward to working together on phase 2.
Rachel designed our garden, which was a blank canvas and together with PD Landscapes the final results are absolutely stunning. We are delighted with our garden and are enjoying watching it grow and develop. I would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone considering designing their garden.
