Do not trust Steve (Stephen Arthur) Hicks if he works with Regal homemaker or any other company. He has not finished the job we have hired his company to do and he left with a big sum of money that he has not worked for, now saying his company is insolvent. Lawfully he should not be able to trade and he should compensate the clients who had financial loses because of him, as it is obvious from other reviews as well.

Nothing to recommend. Regal took three quarters of the price for our glazed extension then stopped work, refused to answer phone calls or emails. A visit to the Swindon address shown on Regal's notepaper revealed an abandoned industrial unit with a For Sale sign. Neighbours said Steve Hicks had not been seen for 7 years. From 19th October to 29th November Regal's men have worked 2 days. This firm is fraudulent, incompetent and should be put out of business.

The worst service experience I've ever had, avoid by all means.
Lies, lies, and yet again lies from the beginning (I've seen similar "3-weeks job" in other reviews), eventually took most funds, barely completed 1/3 of conversion in a year and disappeared.
Paid deposit in July 2021, work started end of Nov only because I demanded deposit back.
Then done almost nothing in 2022, with last half day visit almost 3 months ago. Not replying any emails, calls, text messages etc. Left lots of rubbish in the garden, drive way, and inside (which I already had to clean myself). Every time I reminded about broken promises he was very arrogant, even swearing at me as if it's my fault (not even talking about that it's in principle unprofessional and unacceptable).
So overall, very stressful experience and i would never recommend their service, left with no further choice but to take legal actions.

This company are poor communicators, deliver an average at best, quality of work and are very slow workers. It took them a year to build a single storey extension.
They had no respect for our property and often left surrounding areas a mess.
We are left with areas we need to finish before decorating.
Overall, a stressful experience and I would never recommend their services.

Regal supplied and fitted our conservatory. The product and service were both excellent. The staff were all very friendly, polite and couldn't do more for us. The conservatory has changed the way we use the house and we couldn't be more pleased with it. Thank you very much for a really great service.

I can not speak highly enough of this company, hence the 5*. We initially had them to build an Orangery. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive.
Steve understood us and had the vision and knowledge to build what we wanted. They handled the whole project from design through planning to build finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Their workmen were 'old school' who took time and pride in their work and cleaned up everyday before leaving site. I can not recommend these / this company enough. We have since used them for 2 other projects, and would again. We have also recommended Regal to friends who have used them and have been equally please.

It has been a real nightmare from the start. Full of lies, broken promises and lame excuses just to take your money and not finish the work. Four months later and our conservatory only half finished and the house left like a tip refusing even to take their rubbish away and fix the damage they have caused to our property. The owner/managing director is a rude childish arrogant individual. Will be taking legal action against them. Avoid at all costs.

My 3 week build still isn't finished 5 months later. This is a simple conservatory. The footings went to plan and was to a great standard and was left tidy. But as soon as it came to the rest it was awful. Delays starting, lack of communication. When work did get done it was always left in a mess, the floor has been left uneven, I still have holes in my wall from electrics being run. Never came back to complete despite me giving them
My availability and no response from them. They chased the second payment (95%) of the money before the roof was on:
I agreed to pay when roof was on and then that's when the issues started. No turning up, the work that was done from then wasn't to standard. I have photo evidence to prove this. Currently taking legal advice on this company. My advice is to avoid at all costs.

I have had Regal replace several doors and windows on my house.
All of ther staff were polite, timely and efficient and left no mess behind upon completion.
Their standard of work was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending them
