There is an abundance of different types of timber and a wide range of ways that timber can be processed. Matthew will show you samples and discuss available options including inlays, marquetry, laminations and more. The intention with all Matthew's commissions is for customers receiving their new pieces of furniture to have enjoyed the process, and also to be satisfied beyond their expectations with the work produced. Matthew's approach is centred around the hope that you will appreciate the benefits of commissioning a bespoke item of furniture and will continue to do so in the future.
Great work, as always, at @rjnfurniture. Such a gift to be around great minds and crafty hands. This one wasn't made by me. The photo's don't do this piece justice. @ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
I'm loving the marquetry for the next few projects! Geometric patterns known as mandala - circle of life. @ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Phase one of the living room collection complete. Two occasional tables in American Black Walnut. One with a 'secret' drawer. @ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
My mum bought some John Lewis tables with some nice veneered tops so I made her this mirror for mothers day. #loveyoumum @ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
I'm enjoying making these tables. Just the start of a whole living room collection. The best is yet to come. @ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
