We are happy to visit and provide free advice and guidance on a wide range of soft furnishings including curtains, blinds, pelmets and cushions as well as supply fabric, trimmings and poles. We provide a comprehensive upholstery service including the design and construction of headboards, the recovering of chairs, sofas and stools and supply of bespoke loose covers for your lounge or dining room furniture. We have recently started offering lampshades, both hard and soft shades - see our gallery for some examples of shapes and sizes.

Beautiful hand-made curtains and blinds are an investment so it's best to get it right from the outset. Trimmings - do you want to 'jazz up' your curtains by adding a trim or boarder on the bottom of the curtains, across the top or sides or even have the curtains made in several different fabrics? Do have a look at our Trimmings page for some lovely examples of beading, braids and tiebacks. Roller Blind - this type of blind is stylish yet practical and comes in a variety of colours, ranging from sheers (voiles) to blackout blinds, with shaped and trimmed hems, beads or eyelets and you can even add a pull or pole to complete the look.

What's new?

These curtains were due to have a double pleated heading but sometimes the best laid plans. The heavily interlined linen draped so beautifully there was no need for any further detail. Quite pleased with the new feature of contrast piping without the cord, gives a lovely flat neat looking border.

Quite tempted to pull all the curtains and blinds (well only 1 so far) and shut the world out today. The weather is horrendous and leaks are appearing. Managed to complete another part of the jigsaw over the weekend, might add some flaps and change the chain colour, but otherwise quite pretty. This.

The first of many. A lovely thick door curtain for the gite. I used this fabric for a client recently and loved it so bought some more and had enough for the door, a Roman blind for the adjoining window (next to make) and a notice board. Adding a fan edge trim has provided another detail as well.

Easing myself back into work today by running up a couple of pretty piped, scatter cushions to compliment the curtains which will be in the same blue tones but a toile design. By adding either the plain dark blue piping or the stripe to the curtains (leading edge, buttons, top or middle pleat) both.

Been rather busy since my last post in July buying and moving to France. The business continues to operate here and in the UK where possible. Over the coming weeks I shall revisit the projects completed since the summer and little glimpses into our new ones. The French property will be available to.
