Engaged Abbey Builders to carry out dry rot treatment to ground floor following inspection by Mike. They were able to start the work quite quickly. They we're eager to explain the reasoning for all the work that needed to be carried out. Clear pricing and we actually paid a little less when the floor had been removed and the extent of the work required was apparent.
All areas and floors were covered and protected to minimise dust, and debris swept up at the end of the day. At the end of the job we found a door sticking and a skirting board needed adjusting but they came back quickly to sort it out. Great communicator and informed of the work plan at every stage. Initially dreadiing the task of trying to find someone who would be reliable. Best thing about Abbey Builders is that they have a real team of all the trades and work to a high standard. Always at the end of the phone to answer any questions.

We wanted a kitchen extension but did not know who to contact so we googled builders in Liverpool and were attracted to the high ratings for abbey builders. We made an arrangement for Lee and Ray to come around to give a quote . We thought the quote was very fair and arranged for works to start. From the start the men arrived on time and covered adjacent areas with dust sheets to keep the rest of the house clean.
We were told the work would take time in the region of fifteen weeks and was pleased to see that it was completed in only fourteen weeks. We cannot thank abbey builders enough for the quality of work carried out and if we need any other building works in future would have no hesitation in going back to abbey builders.

Just had our Kitchen and Dining room knocked into one. From day one all the guys who worked on the job were very good, professional, friendly and talked everything through what they were doing. Paul gave us ideas on what changes we could make to improve the build. Would like a special mention to go to Peter, Alan, Terry for their help also and a very professional job in keeping ever tidy as they went along, also, the plumbers, Stu the plaster and Shaun the electrician. Dave and Lee you should be very proud that you have have good guys working for you. Overall all a great job done by all and much impressed, would highly recommend them.

Highly recommended! We discovered water getting in through the Dormer on our loft conversion - turned out that the whole frame was rotting away. Dave and his team did a fantastic job rebuilding and repairing the whole structure as well as lowering some dangerous chimney stacks. They even replaced some loose slates and fixed some ridge tiles while they were up there! Wouldn't hesitate using them again or giving their details to friends!

Really good bunch of guys. Completed a kitchen and dining room project for us - including the removal of multiple walls, installation of RSJs and a complete rebuild of the roof. The kitchen installation was done to the highest of standards. They have completly transformed my house and at a very reasonable price.
