A family business, our head office is in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, giving us easy access to customers across the region. We started life as a Civil Engineering company and today work with some of the biggest names in the North West. Our services include Project Design and Management, Concrete Works and Drainage, Infrastructure and Utilities, Street Works, Concrete Floorings and Coatings, Specialist Sub-Contractor Provisions and Tank Farms.

We bring in experienced sub-contractors to support our in-house teams only as required and usually to provide additional specialist services.

Moorcroft hasextensive experience in providing civil engineering and building services through our highly skilled in house work force to the industrial sector including petrochemical, nuclear, chemical and manufacturing, working collaboratively with in house teams ensuring works are carried out safely and effectively. Following a detailed tender process, Moorcroft was contracted to construct a silo with weighbridge, office, substation and infrastructure connected to the dock system for the import of cement.

Our residential development team provide full project management services which includes consultation and advice at the design stage, right through to the completed build and handing over the keys. We will work with and on behalf of the client with planning, building control, and the local authorities to deliver high quality places to live. Moorcroft was chosen to develop existing unoccupied farm buildings and convert them into 4 3-storey luxury homes. The development included external landscaping and Section 278 works for the entrance to the development.

Moorcroft's highly skilled in-house workforce has consistently delivered a range of complex civil engineering projects for some of the North West's most prestigious companies. Our range of services include project design and management, specialist groundworks, Highways & Section 278, concrete and drainage works and infrastructure and utilities.

Moorcroft designs, constructs and project manages warehouse buildings for industrial and commercial use. Our areas of expertise include steel clad buildings, concrete flooring, specialist coatings that are resistant to certain chemicals and storage facilities with dock levellers. We can also design steel frame structures capable of housing the largest overhead cranes and gantries. During a systems review at Cargill's grain storage facility in Liverpool, it was deemed that there was a requirement to provide a new entrance and exit canopies to the large existing grain store.

We have a long track record of installing industrial buildings including tank farms and any other production facility. In many cases, we will work with the client on the design of the facility and then oversee all building works. We have a robust supply chain including steel manufacturers, cladding and roofing specialists. Following a detailed tender process, Moorcroft was contracted to construct an extension to an existing Soybean Crush Plant and Refinery at Liverpool docks.
