Phoenix is a social enterprise and charity based in Milton near Cambridge. It offers experience of the world of work to young people and adults with a range of learning disabilities and special, additional or complex needs. The site has a concrete factory, carpentry workshops, a kitchen garden and canteen kitchen, and is open to the public for the sale of products produced on site. The founding trustees recognised that there was a lack of opportunity to experience manual work for people disadvantaged by learning disabilities.

A beautiful day to pop over to Wandlebury Country Park and deliver some new free standing notice boards to our friends at another local charity, Cambridge Past, Present and Future. Some of our frames are still in use, this one, pointing the way to a Dinky Door! The park looked glorious - well worth a visit!
We are very proud of our co- workers - they have coped so well with all the changes, new processes and disruptions caused by the pandemic. Their fortitude means we are still making wooden and concrete products, running a canteen, and even, launching a cake business. So. A massive well done to them all!
