Embracing the rustic beauty of wood's naturally textured grain is the Soft Grain collection, whilst refined beauty is offered in the classic wood stains and contemporary painted colours contained within the rest of the collection. As with all bespoke made to measure blinds you can really personalise them to your decor and home. Choose simple, unobtrusive ladder cord for an undisturbed view through your blind. Or for a moredramatic individual look you have the choice of matching or contrasting coloured ladder tapes.

We offer 25mm width slats as standard from several different sources, allowing you to have a huge selection of colours, textures and looks. 16mm, 35mm and 50mm width slats are available in a smaller range of colours and some can have added tapes for a unique look. Aluminium Venetian blinds can add to the modern lines and textures found in new build homes and apartments. The functionality of Aluminium Venetians can be more specific with a choice of positions for the cord controls and wands. As with all corded blinds, safety is a priority and all our Aluminium Venetians come with a cord tidy cleats to help keep your family safe.

Withfabric designs becoming more technologically advanced and patterns more luxurious, Vertical blinds are not what they used to be. Simply put, a Splay Bay will have a long window in the middle with two smaller side windows, either at an angle to the big window or at 90 degrees. Just like in the Right side picture above. A Hockey Stick bay will have a long window with one, two or even three smaller windows at one side or the larger window. Just like in the Left side picture above. Our Team of surveyors will come and make a template of your window which we send off to a specialised manufacturing company, one of only a few in the world, who can bend the tracks into shape to neatly fit into your bay.

Smart Home Automation is becoming increasingly popular and is a great way to manage your home at your convenience. Our Home Hub, from Louvolite, can help your home become a smarter and more contemporary living space. We can motorise Roller Blinds and Vision Blinds which use traditional remote controls to operate them, but with the addition of a Home Hub, you can control your Blinds via an app on your phone or tablet. Plus, you can then add the app to your Alexa and ask Alexa to open or close your Blinds to music, if you like.

Vision blinds (also known as Day/Night Blinds) are an innovative window blind that features two layers of translucent and opaque horizontal striped fabric. The front layer moves independently of the back, allowing the stripes to glide between each other creating an open and closed effect. A single control chain or motorised system, is used to raise or lower the blind to any height in the window with ease, much in the same way as the classic Roller blind would. This enables you to soften excess daylight and reduce the glare entering you room.

Our collections include Clarke & Clarke, Prestigious Textiles, Ashley Wilde, Chatsworth, Voyage, Orla Kiely and Belfield, but we can also source fabrics elsewhere such as Romo, Sanderson and many more.

I'm Steven Baisden, the MD of John's Blinds Limited. We (Suzy and I) run a family business retailing made to measure Blinds, Curtains and Shutters for both domestic and commercial customers. We take pride in our business and we have spent time tailoring our services, employing great, knowledgeable, friendly staff to make sure we give our clients the best experience possible. This is something that I'm very proud of and continually develop. Now years on from making that statement we have a team of 11, some of who have been with us from the beginning of this journey and we all continue to aim high, develop and build the company brand.

Custom made Interior Shutters are durable, built to last and never go out of style. You won't need to replace your Shutters every few years, therefore your initial investment will pay off over time. Indoor Window Shutters, or Wooden Shutters, or as they are better known, Plantation Shutters are a fixed pair of hinged panels with slats that sit inside their own frame, drilled to the windowsill or door frame. There are many types of materials that make up a Plantation Shutter including PVC, MDF, Hardwood, Textured, Real Wood or Premium Hardwood and these vary in cost.

Roman Blinds are having somewhat of a revival at present, with soft materials and warming fabrics, they can be made using sewing machines on a mass produced scale, or with love, individually by hand. With our made to measure service, we can offer both machine made and handmade Romans, giving the customer greater flexibility. We have a great range of fabrics in house or we can source fabrics from most of the main makers, such as Clarke and Clarke, Harlequin, Romo and many more. Plus if you have your own fabrics, we offer a makeup service, where we take your favourite fabrics and transform them into luscious Roman Blinds.

Roller blinds provide the perfect combination of style, quality and performance. Whether the look you want is simple, yet sophisticated or glamorous and elegant, our in house manufactured Roller blinds will look sensational in any room of your home. We work with the leading fabric suppliers in the industry, giving our customer a vast range of colours, patterns and shades of fabric allowing them to best match, contrast or co-ordinate with their dcor.
