We are just a couple miles from Dunnet Head the most northerly point on the UK Mainland and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Brough Harbour with Clett Rock standing proud out of the water with Seals popping their heads out of the water to check what is happening around them. Doreen and I have spent many years in the furniture and antique business and acquired a great deal of knowledge.

Fabulous workshop run by a true craftsman with a great character. I went in out of curiosity and found a treasure trove of items. I returned a couple of days later and purchased a unique sycamore coffee table at a very reasonable price. I was on holiday at the time and it is a real and touchable memory of our time staying in Brough (much better than a fridge magnet). Beautiful, thoughtful works of art
at affordable prices.

Called in yesterday and really impressed with the workshop. The shepherds hut we saw was fantastic, pity we can’t take one home.

Had a great hour looking around this true craftsmans workshop, so much knowledge about so many things, the things you have accomplished in life are incredible. Beautiful hand crafted goods ranging from shepherd's huts to lamp shades all produced with the greatest skill with an eye for detail and a wonderful level of finish
We stopped in and had a wonderful time looking around his place. He told us right up front that he had sold all the small items for tourists to take. We were sad to hear that because his work is really amazing. You need to put this on your list for a visit. He spent a lot time patiently showing us around his workshop. We really enjoyed his enthusiasm for his craft. He is truly a master woodworker. Well worth the visit. Wells, from New Mexico.
So glad we didn't just drive past this amazing place, had a great chat with Keith as he showed us both around. What a highly talented man with an array of magnificent pieces to feast the eyes. Ordered a little 'catchet' for our, soon to be born, Grandson. Beautiful place to visit had been looking for a mirror for above fireplace for a long time found it at rustic interiors delighted with it was exactly what I was looking for.well worth a visit!

ONLY A SHEPHERDS HUT ENTIRELY BUILT IN BROUGH LOOKS LIKE A SHEPHERDS HUT BUILT IN BROUGH Heavy steel turntable chassis - fully mig welded and red oxide painted with traditional cast iron wheels. Fully insulated - 4 inches of Rock Wool everywhere - roof walls and floor. Quality double glazed wooden.
We are keeping ourselves busy during these difficult times. Making a commissioned Large Oak Dining Table - 2 ins solid top - reinforced with 5 lengths of 12 mm stainless rods - heavy square legs with 4 ins skirt. Larch cladding on Shepherds Hut almost finished. A wee peak of our new range of unique.
Even though we are on lock down we are keeping very busy The fine few days even though they have been cold have let me get on with the cladding and fitting of windows to the Shepherds Hut. Doreen making lampshades and busy on the sewing machine making a new range of items
