Triple Glazing
As such, this range truly qualifies as being one of the best high performance windows available in the UK and all our triple glazed windows are backed up by a British fenestration Ratings Council (BFRC) energy label. Although many double glazed windows achieve an A rating, the next generation triple glazed windows can significantly improve the energy efficiency of your home even further. The Definitive Collection triple glazing range can help you save even more on your heating bills. Energy Costs will almost certainly continue to rise and according to the Energy Savings Trust, a staggering 26% of all domestic heat loss escapes through windows.
Repairs and Upgrades
By making use of the latest technology in double glazed units and installing Pilkington energiKare in your existing windows these windows would then be rated as a C and achieve the energy saving recommended status. Although this should be considered worthwhile at any time it would be particularly worthwhile when replacing broken or misted up double glazed units. Technology never seems to stand still and just as with glass the advances in the security side of doors and windows continues apace with ever improving locking systems, we are always happy to discuss and install appropriate updated security locks as well as replacing like for like when things are beyond repair. We also specialise in replacing window hinges door hinges letter boxes door & window gaskets door panels door & window handles conservatory roofs repaired or replaced.
Windows
Our windows & doors are available in many colours, they don't just have to be White or Brown. A rated windows are a huge improvement over most of the double glazed windows installed over the last 30 years, almost all of which will lose nearly twice as much heat as an A rated window.
Thats why Dave Oxley Windows only use A rated Windows!
Doors
A distinctive range of top quality doors giving an operation as smooth as silk and a long, trouble free life. There are literally dozens of design options to choose from including fully glazed, half glazed and panelled. You can choose glass which is frosted, patterned or stained. Your doors can be inward or outward opening and can be fitted with a wheelchair friendly threshold if required. The bi-folding door meets the demands of contemporary living and combines this with beauty and practical functionality.
Energy Efficiency
With the recent massive increases in energy bills, it's now more important than ever to look into ways of reducing them. Your windows can have a big impact on the amount of energy you use, the comfort of your home and the cost of heating it - and if you're thinking of replacing them, you need to look into the Pilkington energiKare system.
Created by the world's most innovative and best known glass maker, Pilkington energiKare energy efficient glazing quite simply lets more heat from the sun in, and reduces the amount of heat lost through your windows, to keep your house warmer.
