Following the government announcement Ducks Hill Garden Centre is now within a Tier 4 area and is deemed to be an essential retailer and will remain open. We are open with social distancing measures in place. We are pleased that we can open our priority is to ensure the safety of customers and staff alike, and therefore you will notice some changes on your next visit including please wear a mask, no mask no entry. We will have a limited number of customers in the centre at any time, with queuing 2m apart to enter, and 2m social distancing markers will be seen throughout the centre, two people per household please.
Modern artificial grasses provide hardwearing surfaces which are attractive throughout the year, requiring minimal maintenance. The component fibres are ultra-violet stabilized to withstand exposure to strong sunlight and are designed to withstand prolonged exposure to wet. A top quality sports turf with 18mm open textured polypropylene tufts. The pile of the grass is filled with kiln-dried silica sand up to 25kg per square metre. On small areas the sand is levelled using a stiff broom. On larger areas a rotary power brush may be required.
