One way to radically improve your home especially in an old house is through solid wall insulation where heat will be maintained and fuel costs will be reduced. For solid wall insulation there are two methods, firstly external and secondly internal. We know these two methods as EWI for external and IWI for internal. EWI works by effectively wrapping the house in an insulation blanket whereas IWI sees the plaster placed in each of the rooms to the house. Solid wall insulation will save you money on your bills for gas and electric by keeping the house much warmer.
