Floors Forestry

Floors Forestry are woodfuel and fencing suppliers based in Roxburghe Estate in the Scottish Borders. Woodfuel is an environmentally friendly and sustainable resource that we home grow on our large woodland estate. We offer a range of wood products and services including: wood chip, firewood contract chipping & round timber supply. We are also approved sellers of Verdo wood pellets. Our fencing products are of premium quality and are all pressure treated prior to sale. We also supply our customers with a wide range of fencing goods including: fencing timber, gates and fittings, wire, nets and accessories.

As part of Roxburghe Estates, Floors Forestry is in a unique position of being able to supply woodchips and logs that are sourced solely from timber grown on the Estate. We have a long standing interest in biomass fuels; in 2008 we installed a 720Kw biomass boiler to heat Floors Castle and Gardens and started to convert our small roundwood timber, previously sent long distance by lorry to chipboard factories, into woodchips for our own use. Today we have expanded this operation and now sell woodchips and logs to local customers out with the Estate.

Floors Forestry are timber merchants in Scotland, offering our customers with a wide range of fencing products and accessories. These include fencing timber, gate posts, fencing wire, rabbit net, galvanised nails and other fencing accessories.

We offer a wide range of high quality fencing timber to our customers. All of our timbers are pressure treated either with green treatment, traditionally used for agricultural materials or brown treated more common for garden fencing.

We manufacture wooden gates and gate posts on site for both agricultural and garden fencing. These products are supplied with mountings as required. These gates are supplied with sliding bolts and eye bolts for mounting on crooks. They are predrilled by the manufactures to them to be paired up and fitted with a heavy duty drop over frame.

Floors Forestry has logs for sale. These include softwood logs and hardwood seasoned logs, split and seasoned in 1M3 vented bags. We also supply kindling, supplied in manageable net bags.
