Recently had all my windows replaced by Halstead Glass and they did a brilliant job, will be seeing them next year for my doors.

We had Halstead Glass out on 5/04/21 we were told the job would take a max of 4 days to complete. The whole process took just over 6 weeks. They came out to us a total of 3 times due to damaged and broken windows and the fact my bay window was damaged twice by their workmen when installing. I had to bring to their attention the numerous of damaged windows and poorly fitted windows as they wasn't clipped in properly, I was left with gaps and freezing cold air coming through the windows.
I heard the famous line over & over again "its dirt not damage, solvent cleaner will get that out" so many times and was made to feel like I was making something out of nothing. I'm left with windows that have cracks in the corner welding of the frame. I brought to their attention again, they said there is nothing wrong with them and that it doesn't effect the efficency of the windows it's just minor upvc imperfections. I'm left with windows that had the same problem originally with 6 weeks ago.

We recently had an aluminium bi-fold door fitted at our house in Sudbury, from beginning to end it was a great experience. We visited the showroom and Bob explained everything clearly , answering all our questions, he did not push us at all but we were happy to place an order there and then. The fitters (sorry I dont know their names) were great , on time , polite and they did a great job , totally clearing up afterwards. I dont often leave reviews but definitely felt this company deserved a good one . Thanks for a great job
