MBM Speciality Forest Products Ltd provides a comprehensive range of high quality, non-commodity timber products, sourced worldwide to fulfill the very specific requirements of a diverse range of industries.
Softwood is widely used in construction, joinery, furniture, garden products and other applications and has proven to be a successful and competitive material for many centuries. However, in recent years it has become apparent that engineering this versatile raw-material can improve and enhance its characteristics and performance. Engineering the timber at source can provide the perfect solution by eliminating unwanted natural characteristics, such as knots or splits and greatly enhancing the stability.
To enhance our offering of sawn European Oak we also offer a range of Engineered and solid oak components. We work closely with a small group of European producers supplying high quality components, primarily using European Oak and Beech. All products are FSCcertified. The timber can be graded to suit customer specifications. We can laminate, finger-joint, plane, mould, drill, cut, shape and produce a huge range of final components to suit our customers' requirements. Stair strings, stair treads, window and door scantlings are imported to order to suit customer specifications.
