Went for the deluxe afternoon tea for my friends 50th. Only mentioned the birthday once when I rang to book a table in case they were busy and when we got there there were 50th serviettes and happy birthday stuff on the table. Excellent food with two of each cake which is unusual in my experience. So no cutting in half to try each one. Fab chips and plenty to drink. Coffee in a proper mug. Lovely staff too. Will definitely be back!
Had the Mother's Day afternoon tea today with my mum and baby. Nothing was too much trouble on a very busy day for the cafe. Food very nice although I think we waited nearly 40 minutes for our afternoon tea to come this is not surprising as it was very busy but they catered for our every need. Would recommend staff are lovely
Wonderful Santa, however he's so good and interacting with the children so much it did make for a very long wait. We bought tickets just after the tills opened and queued for over an hour in the cold. Some patio heaters and perhaps some music would help. Whenever I looked back it was the most depressing queue, everyone fed up. It's a good job Santa is worth the wait, though I'd re-think coming again as the children just got so bored.
