HortiCentre is a friendly family run traditional garden centre on the A642 mid way between Wakefield and Huddersfield near the National Coal Mining Museum. We concentrate on selling core gardening products at competitive prices and stocking them in depth. Having one of the largest fruit and ornamental tree displays in the area and boasting no fewer than 7 different types of grow bag, a similar number of compost brands, many unusual own brand wild bird care feeds, constantly changing plant offering and monthly special offers makes us we believe 'every gardens friend'.

Really wonderful quality food and drinks in the cafe. I'm vegetarian and they have lovely veggie options. Amazing staff, always very efficient, polite and friendly. I don't use the garden centre so can't comment.
Mum and I go regularly to the cafe/ bistro as well as the garden centre. staff are soo accommodating. plants very well cared for.staff always offer a helping hand if we struggle with weight/height of what we are buying. assist to get to and into car. also deliver to home if necessary. and sort out when delivered.
