After several updates on my order from Allison during the hot weather my plants finally arrived. I was delighted with the healthy, well packed alpines and plan to nurture them with as much care as Slack Top obviously took! I'll have no hesitation ordering more plants in the future and would highly recommend Slack Top Alpines.

Summer 2018 was very hot. yes, even here at Slack Top.making it too warm for both propagating and potting (and updating our facebook page!). As a result we were unable to produce many of the plants we normally offer but 2019 should see this gradually rectified and we're busy potting now. We offer a mail order service all year round and the winter months are a good time to order when plants are dormant. they can be kept in a cold greenhouse or under a coldframe, ready for you to enjoy as soon as they
Charity Bike Ride As some of you may remember, back in August we completed the 'Tour of Mon' - 112 beautiful miles around the coast of Anglesey on bikes. We raised over 300 for Dementia UK so thanks to everyone who helped us in this goal. The weather was lovely for much of the ride, however the.
A little update on our cycle challenge. we tried, and managed 95 miles last Wednesday (from Ripley to Malton), spurred on by several lovely cafe stops (its the only reason I ride!). Hope there are as many tea and cake stops on the big day in August. Our latest power breakfast is spinach and banana.
