We are a Bolton Council run facility that is open to the public and also offers work experience for adults with learning disabilities. Sitting in a picturesque valley just on the outskirts of Bolton Town Centre, Heaton Fold Garden Centre has everything you need to create your dream garden. From seasonal bedding plants, perennials, composts and decorative aggregates, to ceramic planters, garden furniture, pots and ornaments. You can also relax with a drink and a bite to eat in our licensed café which serves a range of snacks and light lunches.
We have a wide selection of summer bedding available from the end of March including begonias, geranium, petunias and fuchsia, with many of our plants grown in our on-site greenhouses. Bring some much needed colour to your garden in the colder months with our beautiful range of Winter / Spring bedding plants such as polyanthus, winter pansy, and lamium and many more. From March onwards we have a wide variety of vegetable and herb plants available. You'll find lots of varieties of tomatoes, chillis, cucamelons as well as tarragon, mint and dill to name just a few.
Love this place! Take my mum for a look around quite often over summer. even more so now they have a lovely patio to enjoy a cool bear and a snack. Always leave with more plants than we intend to as well!
Our first visit here yesterday. Lovely garden centre with very helpful and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced too! Good choice of plants and shrubs and plenty of space to sit and have a drink or a bite to eat from the cafe. Will be back for the 'farmer's market too!
This is a gem of a place. Very reasonably priced. Quality plants and products. Very helpful staff. Such a personal touch of listening and helping a complete novice choose a few things. I have visited a few places but here is where I spent my money. I'm hoping to try the cafe next time. So glad I visited.
