Very disappointed in the food at the cafe on March 7th, I would have mentioned it to the staff but no one had time to listen. Cheese and Onion pie had a rock hard crust, sauted potatoes weren't sauted they were rock hard and the veg was limp. Very disappointed as I've eaten in the cafe several times before and it was wonderful. I think that all of the cafe staff couldn't cope with the volume of people.
We love this place full of beautiful things to buy, staff are lovely you can get such a variety of things from pet things, beautiful ornaments, clothes, and clothes from Edinburgh wool, we love the cafe the food is amazing service fast, staff are so helpful, always busy, it's our favourite place would highly recommend
So today I decided to treat me and my son to some lunch! My sons food was acceptable!. I ordered myself a bacon double cheese burger, half way through my burger and I noticed it was red inside! So I informed one of the staff and she asked if I would like a sandwich instead. So I said I'll have a cheese and tomato sandwich. Anyway. the women came back to me and informed me that it was cooked my burger and that it was a red salt which they used in the burger never heard anything quite like it. So as I'm waiting for my cheese AND TOMATO sandwich she comes walking over, only to find out they'd made me a bloody cheese and ONION one by accident! Is this just a joke or what. I will never step foot back in that cafe again! What a joke
