Founded by Jeff Fuller in 2013 with the vision of offering tailor made high end indoor and outdoor lighting that portrays unique and hand crafted lighting design, The Light Yard was launched to provide a carefully selected collection of handcrafted and bespoke lighting solutions. Since meeting over 10 years ago, Jeff and Gwyn re-envision the brand identity in order to underscore the company's artisanal offering and unique business model and in 2020 The Light Yard was rebranded as Gwyn Carless at The Light Yard, with all lighting produced exclusively through Gwyn's Chesterfield studio.

Here at Gwyn Carless At The Light Yard we offer a contemporary collection of British handcrafted indoor lighting for the entire home. The range has an eclectic mix of styles and features the very best designs of suspended pendants lights, decorative wall lights and industrial style floor lamps. Any fittings from our sale and clearance section are not eligible for our standard manufacturers guarantee. The mouth blown glass bulb is produced by the Dutch manufacturer Calex and has a 15,000hr life span.

Here at Gwyn Carless At The Light Yard, we combine our British designed and manufactured IP wall bases and glass shades with a distinctive range of Calex LED filament light bulbs, giving our unique collection of Bathroom wall lights their very distinctive and elegant appearance.

We work directly not only with our clients but also with Landscape Architects, Lighting Consultants and Property Developers to ensure the highest level of service and expertise. Detailed drawings and CAD renders can be provided from your photographs or sketches and we offer a one to one design service where we can discuss your project in greater detail.

Our distinctive collection of decorative LED wall lights feature a coil shaped internal filament that casts a warm white light throughout the room. Each one has been designed to create a dramatic statement in any room, but they really come to life when used in a kitchen or bedroom.
