David Smith Contractors worked as our Civis sub-contractor for a New Retail Store in Inverness during 2011 and 2012. The works comprised of two stages, an enabling package followed by the construction of the main store and car park. The enabling package involved bulk earthworks, burn diversions working closely with SEPA, sewer works, retaining and head walls, off site and onsite roadworks. The construction of the store and car park followed the enabling works and involved the following - foundations, drainage, substructure precast units, concrete floor and service yard slabs along with external car park works and hard landscaping.

I am a Project Manager working for Barr Construction, I have worked with David Smith Contractors on several projects, the last project being Tesco Inverness Ness-Side, this contract involved a substantial cut and fill excersise which DSC carried out very successfully using the latest technology, DSC then went on to complete the ground works package on time and to a high standard. DSC are a very resourceful company who will work with you to ensure the contact is delivered on time using their new and up to date machinery and plant which I have found is complimented by a vast experience in large scale civil engineering.
