Greenleaf is an Oxford-based company which was established in 2005 by owner/director Matt Edwards. Our initial focus on all aspects of landscaping to both domestic and commercial customers led us to gain vast experience and expertise in this field. Whether you're considering a small one-off job or a complete garden makeover, we are here to assist you. We have been involved with numerous groundwork projects including new build properties handed over at damp-proof level after sites have been levelled, footings excavated, concrete poured, and services installed.

Decking is especially useful when there are awkward levels and is suitable to install at the same level as internal flooring to really create the sense of bringing the outdoors in. We always insist the decking is correctly suspended via posts concreted into the ground to ensure airflow around the substructure which will maintain the structural integrity of the project.

A well thought-out driveway is crucial to help create a good first impression and can go a long way to enhance kerb appeal. Careful consideration needs to be given to the choice of materials to ensure they are both suitable and aesthetically pleasing. The design and layout needs to not only look good but also offer practical solutions to the property's needs. Things like widening entrances, introducing turning circles, drainage, planting areas and lighting may also need to be considered. Good preparation and construction is essential to ensure the driveway retains its integrity for years to come.

For domestic applications we usually recommend closed board fencing for its strength and affordability and tongue and groove gates for their structural integrity.

Ponds encourage wildlife into the garden as well as providing a relaxing area or focal point. The tranquil sound of running water and the possibility of adding fish are worthwhile factors when considering a pond or water feature installation. We have installed prefabricated ponds, sealed concrete, rubber lined, and even puddled clay. We can also provide electricity supply for all the pumping, filtration equipment and other devices that may be required.

We have carried out numerous groundwork projects in conjunction with various architects, builders or private customers to prepare sites and implement the first stages of buildings projects. We can also install drainage and underground services such as mains water, gas and electricity as well as pour concrete and lay brick. We have extensive experience with operating heavy plant and also own a small digger which has proved invaluable to gain access on restricted sites. These services are also available for smaller outdoor projects such as garden clearance or preparation for outbuildings.

Pressure washing is a fast and efficient way to rejuvenate external hard standings and surfaces. We can clean areas for both domestic and commercial customers and have a range of machinery to suit each application. For larger areas or situations where dirty water needs to be controlled we use our rotary surface cleaner which has a built in vacuum port. With this set up the water is pressurised to 3000psi to power the surface cleaner which is linked to a vacuum unit with an onboard dirty water pump.

A well-designed patio area helps link the garden and house and provides a functional and social area to enjoy for years to come. Our past projects have included outdoor kitchens and barbecue areas and we are always mindful that the area should be proportional to the size of the garden yet still accommodate an adequate seating area. We can carry out the project to your specifications or work with you to create a tailored patio or pathway to suit your needs, and also provide overhead plan drawings if required.
