A BarrKitchen respects the space it is in and the individuals it is designed for. There are no preconceived ideas, just a belief that anything is possible. By leaning in to the architectural character of a building and the aesthetic desires of their clients, whether traditional or state of the art, the team works to create a unique kitchen design and a space truly like no other.
BarrKitchens was set up by Founder and Director Stuart Barr, in response to the limited design flexibility offered by other kitchen companies. Architects and designers were requesting interpretations of their individual kitchen designs and clients were seeking a company who could build to their specific space (including sloping ceilings and wonky walls!). Trained in precision cabinetry, at the prestigious Rycotewood College, Stuart was passionate about quality of workmanship and 'doing things differently'.
