Great run today. Really enjoyed it apart from that sun! Lovely medals and the free drink was nice. Would have been 5 stars but I really think we could do with a second water station when it's warm!
We visited chestnut tree memorial garden to sit and reflect on our journey since our beautiful son was taken 9 years ago. It's was a glorious sunny day and the garden was a perfect peaceful place to be for a period of time alone. Having a garden you can sneak into without having to disturb all the staff and children inside the house is a blessing for my family and myself. Thank you chestnut tree house for giving us the chance to have a connection with you still after 9yrs later!
After having a stillborn son we were given precious time being able to visit him because of this wonderful place. Can't put into words how glad I am there is a place u can do this that is so cosy and not a hospital etc. So grateful. Wonderful staff and just such a lovely place. Even got to visit Christmas day which really made mine and his dad's day. Thank you.

Meet Mike, Mike is a Staff Nurse at Chestnut Tree House. "My favourite part about my role is that every day is different depending on the child you are caring for. Some days I could be going swimming, going out on the mini-bus for a coastal walk, and other days I could be providing end-of-life care".
