ACP (Concrete) Ltd, part of the Thomas Armstrong Group, is a specialist prestressed and precast concrete products manufacturer in the UK. The Thomas Armstrong Group have continually grown and developed as a business since 1830. We believe the key to this success is ensuring that the very best standards of quality and high levels of customer service are at the forefront of our business. Our comprehensive prestressed precast concrete walls, flooring, stairs and landing products as well as bespoke solutions are manufactured across our office and factories located across the North of England using the most modern of methods.

ACP Concrete Ltd was formed in as a stand-alone company in 1986 to develop precast sales through the local building industry and merchants. Following particularly expansion over the last decade, the company continues to manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of prestressed and precast concrete products including walls, floors, stairs and landings as well as bespoke products. All our products are compliant to the latest technical and environmental standards across a wide variety of applications including agricultural, retaining walls, tanks, security and firewalls as well as floors and stairs for residential, house or commercial buildings.

At ACP (Concrete) Ltd we manufacture and supply high quality Prestressed Concrete Floors across the UK. Each flooring system has a wide range of benefits to suit ground, first and subsequent floors, extensions and mezzanines within domestic, residential, commercial, retail and industrial buildings. All our prestressed floors products, which can also be known as planks or slabs, are designed for quick and easy installation whilst not compromising on quality or on the final solution in providing a robust, durable and high strength floor.

Precast concrete is the process where concrete is placed in moulds off-site under controlled conditions. The concrete is cast around steel reinforcement bars which add strength to the product. It offers significant benefits over in-situ cast concrete due to the additional control over the mix used, casting conditions and performance. Therefore, precast concrete stairs and landings make the ideal solution for fast track high quality concrete staircase construction. High quality concrete stair construction requires specialist equipment and technique.

Robust, durable precast concrete panels make the ideal solution for the construction of storage bunkers providing effective separation of a wide range of raw materials such as sand, aggregates & woodchip and recycling waste such as glass and tyres. They can be designed to provide temporary or permanent solutions for either single or multi bunkers in a yard area or within a building. Manufactured in controlled factory conditions using Quality Assured concrete, both precast and prestressed precast concrete wall panels provide a known performance, unlike traditional in-situ 'poured' walls reducing the need for specialist and costly engineering input.

These Bespoke products can also form part of our service to supply one of our many other products in the range on a supply only or supply and install basis. Some of bespoke products would include but not be limited to items like non standard wall panels, Retaining walls, Arrow Panels, Ground Beams, complex Stairs, Silage Panels, Capping Units, Coastal and River Defence Systems, Steps etc. Our experienced precast design team can offer new and innovative ideas to your project. Making the most of precast benefits, we can offer solutions to concrete walls and floors from removable coverslab to precast composite switch rooms to entire precast terraced stadiums.

Prestressed Horizontal panels are usually the best option for the perimeter walls. They are designed to be supported by the building steel frame provided that the building's columns have been designed to take the additional load from the stored grain. Installation is quick and straightforward, the panels can be installed on the face of the columns giving a smooth internal wall or, to maximise storage capacity or for a division wall (using double loading panels), they can be installed between the column webs.

A well-designed crop store will protect the crop from damp and vermin, be robust enough to withstand the knocks from out loading machinery, and flexible enough to adapt to changing demands on the farm business. A well designed silage clamp can protect the environment and provide massive savings by reducing wastage, improving silage quality and allowing you to feed the ideal ration every day. A very popular farm wall solution, these concrete wall panels are ideal for the construction of cattle feed barriers, livestock housing from poultry to giraffes and from fully slatted to deep litter systems.

ACP (Concrete) Ltd manufacture high quality Prestressed and Precast Concrete Wall Panels on either a bespoke 'design and build' service or supply only solution on our 'standard' range. Our range of concrete wall panels are divided into 5 different product types making it simple for you to find the right product to match your requirements - Horizontal Light and Heavy Duty, Vertical Cantilever & R35 and Freestanding Arrow Wall Panels. All our prestressed and precast wall panels are designed for quick and easy installation whilst not compromising on quality or on the final solution in providing a robust, durable and high strength wall.
