Just wanted to say a big thank you to one of the male staff at Newlife yesterday who noticed my dads car had broken down outside the store, and so he brought us all a hot chocolate, such a kind gesture we was not expecting. Also a great store to raise money for disabled people and getting designer or good high street store clothes, bags & shoes & with there being a good excuse to shop & p.s. Thank you for the trolley mostly being available for me when i visit, makes such a difference for people with disabilities like myself it may seem small but little things make a big difference to pain & symptoms x

I've used Newlife for the past 25 years, and followed it from it's previous locations. It's certainly grown from then, when there was one changing room and buckets to catch the rain through its leaky roof. Over the years I've had some amazing bargains including my bed and my daughters' pushchair (shes 24). In a way the stores' popularity has been negative, the queues at weekends are horrendous and its harder to find a bargain, though there are still lots to be had. The larger of the three warehouses sells mainly women's clothing with some children's and men's items. Prices are mainly banded at 2.99/4.99 and 6.99 but there are also job lots and individual priced items. Throughout the day there are offers to be had when combining items, such as buy one get one half price etc., or all ladies coats half price. The stores are open daily and late into the evening most nights. Across the road is a homeware warehouse with some amazing items ranging from 99p to 1000. Bed linen is generally very cheap and there are currently lots of (M&S shhhh) toiletries at around half the normal price. There's a good selection of watches too. The final warehouse is called 'Marketplace', here you can pick up all sorts of weird items from clothing to mugs, fabric to craft items, bed bases.t he list goes on. Most items are ridiculously cheap, the feel in this warehouse is a bit more of a jumble sale, I picked up an oak bookcase minus the shelf brackets a couple of weeks ago (brand new) for 4. You'll need to allow a couple of hours for a good rummage around all three warehouses, weekends as mentioned earlier are particularly busy and with less offers on.
