Our nursery was established in 1938 just before the outbreak ofWorld War II by the late Eric Collyer. Born in the days of harsh rationing and the 'Dig for Victory' campaign, Collyers provided valuable food for the local community. After the war we went on to specialise in growing roses and eventually diversified into ornamental shrubs and trees. Collyers Nurseries has now been an independent family business for over 75 years, and is owned and run by Brian Collyer along with his daughter Jenny and son-in-law James.
It's always been a lovely garden centre but now it's become a fabulous place for tea and cake to! We love to take our grandson there and we never come away empty handed! such choice of plants.and veg.and pots.and tools!
Family run business that understand customer service and have an amazing coffee shop. My grandparents owned a coffee shop and they would of loved your fresh produce and the service you provide. You should open another one someone else as you have an excellent set up.
