R Dunn Lime & fibrousPlastering first opened for business in 2002, and have been serving Essex, Suffolk, London and surrounding counties ever since. Having first started plastering in 1982 serving a three year apprenticeship, then continuing to work until 1989 with the same company, I then decided to branch out and start my own company. Over the years in my craft, I continued to come across a problem regarding existing lime plaster walls and ceilings, where the finish coat had detached from its backing coat and been skimmed over with gypsum plasters, I have produced a breathable primer which allows existing walls and ceilings that have good sound backing coats still attached to the laths or brickwork, can now have a new lime finish coat applied over the top.
