I would like to thank everybody for their kind and generous thoughts and comments about being featured on Gardener's World. I hope that you all enjoyed it and maybe found some fresh insight or inspiration. The filming took place in the second week of September on a really hot blue sky day. I did not expect the film to be included in a programme until next year so it was a very pleasant surprise that it was on so soon. My thanks go to the BBC team not only for the opportunity to show what we do here to a wider audience, but for making the experience so enjoyable.
Remember these guys when they just had a stall at the community centre, how well have they done for theirselves and who would had thought that lovely garden is hidden behind their garden centre, well worth a visit and will definitely go again to see whats yet to unfold. Lovely day out.

Cornus alba 'Baton Rouge' A French selection of this hardy deciduous shrub grown for its winter interest of bright red stems that are revealed after the green leaves turn purple and fall in autumn. Insignificant white flowers in summer are followed by white berries which if eaten can cause an upset.
Helleborus x hybridus 'Double Queen Mixed' Hardy clump forming perennial with dark green leathery over wintering leaves. Winter to spring produces double maroon red, pink, cream or green flowers on stems 30-40cm (12-16in) tall. Ordinary garden soil, happy in clay. Sun to semi shade. All parts cause.
Rosmarinus officinalis 'Severn Sea' Hardy aromatic evergreen shrub of arching habit with narrow dark green needle like leaves often used for cooking. Very useful early spring flowering shrub with bright blue flowers. Sunny position, ordinary to well drained soil. Reaches 1m x1m.
