Advantage Pest Control specialises in the extermination and removal of unwanted pests helping homeowners, landlords and agricultural customers to stay pest free.

Andy has always been a keen gardener and began by looking after elderly relatives' gardens. With a keen eye and green fingers, he quickly built up a reputation for superior quality and workmanship together with excellent customer service. Now with 20 years' experience, his multi-skilled team provides both specialist Garden Landscaping and Maintenance and Pest Control Services within one company. Advantage has a three-strong team of enthusiastic, multi-skilled specialists, including a BSc (Hons) qualified Landscape Designer to enable the company to provide its customers with the right team for the job, which in turn provides excellent quality and value for money.

We can provide lawn care as part of a garden maintenance programme - but Advantage also offers dedicated lawn/grass services. Whether postage stamp size or acres of parkland, football pitch or bowling green - we can keep that grass in tip top condition for any homeowner, business or sports club. As well as mowing and edging, we can weed and feed, scarify or hollow tine aerate any expanse of grass. We can re-seed bare areas and offer advice on the best type of lawn to choose depending on whether it's an area to be admired from afar, or one that needs to stand-up to the rough treatment of a weekly sports fixture.

Whether it is marauding moles, sneaky squirrels or calculating cats - there are plenty of uninvited guests who can create havoc in your garden - and frustration and cost for you. And that's just the four-legged invaders - there are plenty which have even more legs to stand on, never mind wings to aid their invasion! So if it's aphids in your asters, wasps in the walnut tree or ants under the arbour, we can help you: see our specialist pest services for more details, and remember that Advantage can help guard your garden - or any other area in a park, sports ground or school.

Green fingered folk classify anything over six feet tall as a tree - but our 'tree' services include shrubs and hedges too. If trees or shrubs need to be taken down altogether, we can do that too, including removing the roots and organising a replacement or alternative variety of tree if required. So whether it is for a domestic garden, the areas around business premises - even blocks of flats or schools and care homes, calling Advantage means you won't be barking up the wrong tree!

Your garden is perfect, has all the elements you want: the plants and flowers you love to see, perhaps an area to sit in or walk around. But it's never quite at its best, because you simply don't have the time - or perhaps you're not physically able - to mow the lawn or keep on top of those weeds. Advantage's flexible packages of garden maintenance offer weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits, or perhaps a one-off visit, to make sure your garden is never a chore and is always a place to enjoy. We can simply mow and edge the lawn - or take on any of the other regular tasks including strimming, weeding borders, pruning hedges and shrubs - in fact all of the dozens of jobs which keep your garden in shape.

Wasp nests develop in the spring or summer months when the weather is warm. They can be found in wall cavities, behind fascia boards, in holes in the ground, in garden sheds, bushes or tree hollows and of course, in loft spaces. Establishing whether you have a wasp nest in your loft can be relatively simple: open up your loft hatch and turn the light on, then leave it for around half an hour. If you have a live nest in your loft, when you return you are likely to find wasps flying near where the light is located.

Advantage offers a full hard and soft landscaping service to help you design and build your perfect garden. We can create new lawns by turfing or seeding, suggest and plant beautiful borders, and wade in with ideas for wonderful water features. There are so many options for your overall look: we can help you decide if you want a contemporary or cottage garden effect. Maybe you'd like to create boundaries or define areas within the garden using fences, trellis or hedging. Specimen trees, all-year-round colour, sensory or scented planting, relaxing ponds (including fish or fountains!)

Whether it's clearing an entire site or just removing that unwanted tree, shrub or hedge, Advantage can do it all. Maybe the lawn is bare beyond repair - or your flowerbed is full of nettles instead of petals. There could be tumbledown sheds, falling down fences or cracked and broken slabs that need to be removed. So, whether it's rubble, ragwort or roots, the team at Advantage can take the pain away - and all the debris too! And once the unwanted items are removed, we can also prepare the ground for your new garden layout: setting levels, organising replacement topsoil for seeding or turfing a new lawn, digging out holes or trenches for ponds and water features and laying greenhouse or shed bases.
