We are a small company and we want all of our customers to be happy with their purchase. We treat every piece as a one-off. Whether it be one of our standard designs, or a bespoke piece made to suit your tastes and requirements. Each piece is designed for you, and we always allow customers to review designs before placing an order.
We are a small family run business based near the market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire. Carthouse Furniture was established in 1995, and moved to our current premises in Carlton Miniott in 2003. There we have our workshop and showroom, and every piece of furniture is made by us on site. We also have a luxury holiday cottage on site named Landrace Cottage. We make furniture in the local tradition of hardwood furniture manufacturing. We specialise in the use of oak, but other hardwoods can be sourced if needed.
