We're a garden centre in Mayfield Park in Southampton, and we aim to bring about positive change for people struggling with their mental health. Every penny we make from plant sales is ploughed back into helping people with mental health issues. We're a social enterprise and a subsiduary of Solent Mind. We provide a place for people with mental health issues and learning disabilities to develop new skills and be part of a supportive, friendly community. Through our schedule of wellbeing groups and training programmes we empower people to make dramatic improvements in their mental health, confidence and self esteem.

Our nursery provides a nurturing environment for people with mental health issues and learning disabilities, enabling them to take positive steps to improve their wellbeing. We believe that gardening and nature have the power to transform lives. Our passionate and friendly team are on hand to give information and advice on our current stock of top quality, competitively priced plants.

We offer therapeutic horticulture, wellbeing groups, individual support, community gardening and support for people with dementia or depression and anxiety. Behind the garden walls of Mayfield Park in Southampton, we have an inviting and tranquil green space that provides a wonderful backdrop for our Wellbeing Services. Mayfield Nurseries provides a supportive, therapeutic environment away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We welcome all members of the community and will empower individuals to improve their wellbeing through therapeutic programmes, connecting with horticulture and nature. What is Wellbeing? Wellbeing is about feeling good on the inside and on the outside.

What a lovely nursery! Super friendly and helpful staff. Picked up a few plants for work yesterday, very pleased!

Excellent Christmas activities this weekend. Santa was lovely, and spent quality time with the children. The grotto and Santa's little helpers looked amazing Beautiful Xmas trees and plants. Over all a great place, friendly staff and fab charity.
