Based in the South West, Hi-Tec Drains is an independent family run business founded in 1988 by Mike Willes. We have grown from a one man and his drain rod set up and we are now a fully developed business specialising in all areas of drainage surveying, repairs, installations and renewals as well as unblocking and clearing. We utilise the latest in drainage technology alongside fully qualified and equipped engineers to provide expert drainage solutions to all your domestic and commercial needs. At Hi-Tec Drains we have the specialist professional knowledge and training to allow us to install all types of drainage systems in domestic and commercial properties. Our team will utilise a full drainage mapping service to ensure that we can create new connections into existing drainage networks. We are happy to advise, design and install new drainage systems and sewer diversions to your requirements for properties or 'build overs'. We have extensive experience in dealing with land drainage. We can clear ditches, drainage channels and culverts to improve existing systems or install new management systems to reduce surface water build up on your agricultural land, sports pitches, gardens and driveways.

Following appropriate investigations our team will provide a personalised quotation for the necessary services and wait for your consent before proceeding. We will then organise a visit which is convenient to you (although there is no need for you to wait in for us if your drains are easily accessible). Engineers from our repairs team can offer a wide range of repair methods, using advanced renovation trenchless technology where possible or more traditional excavation methods if necessary. Relining is our preferred method of repair due to it having very limited disruption.

Alongside our normal services available to domestic properties we are also happy to design and provide personalised maintenance programmes for your treatment plants, septic tanks, pump systems, sewers and drains. Our portfolio includes a contract where we look after the drainage maintenance for over 20 hotels and pubs across the South and South West of England. Our engineers have got experience in installing large drainage systems for a range of commercial sites, and our team can install and manage treatment plants from 6 up to 600 people!

At Hi-Tec Drains our advanced CCTV technology is the most effective way to inspect drains and sewers, sending a camera right to the heart of the problem without messy excavation work. We have years of experience in CCTV surveys for any size of project from small domestic properties to large commercial sites, so you can feel confident in our recommendations for appropriate repairs and in the competitively priced quotations that are supplied alongside your report. A CCTV survey allows our surveyors to view inside the drainage system to assess the condition of a drain, locate and identify any defects including blockages, silt build up, off set or misaligned drain joints, collapses and fractures to the pipe.
