I was so fortunate to purchase 2 of George Smith Design pieces of furniture at an Austin, Tx thrift store. I believe the chair(s) are called The Eve. The ones i purchased are low to the floor with a tufted back and seat in a striped silk like fabric. The legs are carved and highly polished wood with brass wheels on all legs. I've compared mine with online photographs and it appears one would sale for 1850Euro, which is $2285.69 In dollars.so approx $4600 for my 2 chairs that I paid $60 for. I must have them appraised! Exciting.
