Inspect-A-Drain provides drainage engineering support to the very highest of standards which are explicitly demonstrated through our robust range of procedures, reporting and working practices.

All of our drainage engineers have access to a vehicle loaded with every tool they might need to undertake any drainage project such as drainage repairs, CCTV surveys (nothing is impossible!), No Dig Technology, Subsidence and New Builds and blocked drains. If you are experiencing any of these problems, then please contact us on 0800 195 8670 or 07967 029298 and we will be able to help you swiftly and cost effectively.

Cctv Surveys

Inspect-A-Drain offer a broad range of common surveys (see below), however, if we can get a camera in we will survey anything! Whilst undertaking CCTV drain surveys all accessible drainage (or that depicted by our customer) will be surveyed by either a hand pushed camera or crawler system. All images will be stored on DVD unless our Micro-Bore Camera is used, which, whilst enabling us to reach more awkward places that are often overlooked by others in our trade, it does not, due to its small size, have record capability.

Drain Repairs

The most common sizes of pipework that Inspect-A-Drain deals with in many excavations or lining projects are 75mm up to 150mm, however for special requests we can also undertake works on pipelines up to 300mm. All excavations and drain repairs in Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham are undertaken safely and in accordance with the WRC drainage repair handbook. Only British standard pipe types are used. Any concerns, if not dealt with on site, should be addressed to senior management by phoning us on 0800 195 8670 or 07967 029298.

I called Roger up to enquire about a WRC survey to submit to Severn Trent in order to get a build-over permit. He answered the phone quickly, gave me a no-nonsense quote on the spot (which was very competitive) and was perfectly happy when I said I would get back in touch. When I decided to ask him to go ahead, he happened to be in the area the next day and was able to fit me in. The survey was performed quickly and efficiently, he was more than happy to explain what was being seen and what it might mean and provide guidance on things I might want to consider. His invoice came through that evening and, after payment, was shortly followed by the report. Top service, couldn't ask for any more. Thanks!

Roger was great; efficient, helpful, punctual and was able to explain the issue really clearly. Would highly recommend him.

Roger was friendly, professional and polite. He responded to my enquiry quickly and it was clear that he had a lot of experience. He suggested a solution that I could afford and did the work the next week, making the whole process much more pleasant than it could have been. Not only that, the work was reasonably priced and he used a super flexi liner, so I didn't need to have the whole area dug up, which a different company had said would be needed.

Arrived on time and gave a thorough explanation of the survey - carried out efficiently and report with me within 48hours Highly recommend

What's new?

The drainage industry can be hard enough at the best of times, having been part of it for the last 30 years, but I've never seen it fall flat on its face like this. Now:- The organisation CDC (Centre of Diseases Control and Prevention) has reported in an update on 3 April 2020. The environment that.

Yet again Ltd companies outside of the retail and leisure sector are left out of the help packages being given out. Drainage companies are classed as key workers and can get the virus from what you flush away. Self employed have got their help, I hope we get some soon. Not all small companies are self employed and they have to become ltd for tax reasons. A lot of drainage companies, plumbers, heating engineers, electricians etc fall into this category. So we are important to keep the nations poo

Hello all. If you know me, you will know that I am self employed and have been in the drainage industry for about 30 years. Recently we have been classed by the government as 'Key workers' as blocked drains are obviously environmental and health hazards. Emergency works is all drainage contractors can expect to receive at the moment and this cant be done from home lol! I am just letting you all know that I am still working and am here if you need me, and obviously not very busy as many self.
