Essential Woodwork was formed in 2014, by owner, Justin, who began working for the family-run joinery business that began way back in 1980, specialising in oak windows, stairs, and bespoke doors. Going his own way, Justin went on to start what is now EssentialWoodwork.co.uk with the focus on supplying a wide range of expertly machined and hand-finished oak furniture and accessories. We've grown quickly and as such now offer an ever-increasing variety of oak doors, window sills, oak beams, tables and shelves, among other items.

Our new site has launched! A lot of time spent over the past several months creating the design, adding new functionality and working on new products and features. We'll be highlighted some of the new additions to the website on our blog and Facebook posts over the next few weeks. The work doesn't stop here though. Plenty of new products and additions to the site coming up!
