ZA Electrical Ltd aka Dune was on time and very professional tightened up all loose wires on our circuit board to prevent downstairs lights flickering. Would highly recommend! Dune is really nice genuine guy. I contacted him this morning before 9am in a bit of a flap, with issues with my fuse box tripping. He called me back within 20 minutes, and explained my issue was likely due to washing machine. And advised me to try a few tests to diagnose the problem. I am still in the process of following his advice, and monitoring the issue, but without ever even meeting Dune, it's easily 5 stars.
He could have easily turned up, charged me by the hour, and left, and I'd have still felt I'd got a good service, and I'm sure lots of other trades would have jumped at the chance of an easy pay day. If my issue isn't solved with a bit of playing around, then I will give him a call back to come take a look, and he's won a customer for as long as I'm living in the area. What more could you want than honest professional advice, and the peace of mind you aren't being charged for anything that isn't necessary.

Have used ZA's multiple times over the past year. Dune has fitted new appliances for a kitchen fit, a HIVE heating system and a completely new fuse box, all at great price while being extremely responsive to any time changes. Absolutely brilliant service from Dune at ZA. It was an after hours call out but he arrived within 20 minutes and was extremely thorough after we had blown a main fuse in our fuse box. He tested everything to try and diagnose the problem and got us back up and running really quickly. Checked all the appliances as well which was really going above and beyond. Top bloke! Would 100% recommend!

The guys from ZA Electrical (Dune & Sebastian) really did sterling work to inspect and update the dubious wiring to our fuse board. Initially ZA came out for a fuse tripping problem, which Homeserve's incompetant electrician declared a "fuse board overload" and promply ran away, leaving us without any working power sockets. Dune was called in and methodically tested, found and isolated the issue (the boiler control), so we could restore power to the house.
We decided to fully replace the fuse board - and we now have safe and properly organised certified wiring (which took some considerable application on their part due to the odd configuration). Dune & Sebastian were friendly, patient, thorough and cleaned up properly. They accomodated the madness of our busy 6 person/3 generation household with its constant comings & goings. Bottom line: these guys are true professionals who won't let you down.

Dune came to the practice after phoning him to find a ghost meter that we were told by the power company we had on site. Dune knew exactly what to do as soon as he arrived and got straight to finding the meter. Dune is very friendly and does what he can do resolve issues. I highly recommend him for electrical services.

The engineer came out promptly, and ran through a problem finding routine which highlighted 2 issues. He quickly & Efficiency diagnose the problems fixing them satisfactory. I was in need of an emergency electrician as a bit of DIY resulted in me creating a bit of a mess. Blown fuse and no lights working I was in need before the kids came home. Dune installed a Nest Floodlight and a new electrical shower at my house. Installation was done very quickly and to a very high standard. We called Dune on Good Friday as our electricity was tripping. He came out immediately and identified the appliance causing the problem. He returned at a later date and upgraded our fuse board and light fittings. He is very professional, friendly and a very tidy workman. Contacted company to arrange electrician to install oven and change a few bits and pieces around in the kitchen. Was amazed at how quickly this was arranged. I am a small business in Burgess Hill that required an electrical safety review, related remedial work and also other smaller jobs that came up during the process - I found Dune McDonald and his team to be highly responsive, prompt and extremely tidy. Had an electrical problem so phoned this company to request a callout. They were able to advise me how to resolve the issue over the phone in the space of 5 minutes. Really pleased with the work on our kitchen lights- now have all 8 ceiling lights working! Process for changing fittings was clearly explained, a good price sought for parts and fitted promptly. Always very reliable and does a great job. Most recent issue resolved after another sparkie said it wasn't possible to repair faulty BluetoothHiFi/LED switch within a bathroom mirror. After learning Warranty had expired and BathStore had gone bust other sparkie suggested use mirror as mirror only, or "Skip-it" Dune fixed it. Can't recommend highly enough.

We first met Dune 3 years ago and our relationship has survived ever since. From the first contract for the extension, through several smaller contracts for things like new consumer units, sub-mains for a new oil-fired boiler installation and external lighting & power/lighting to a big purpose-built shed. To first-fit for a bathroom and a toilet extension with underfloor electric heating, power, lighting and extract systems.
To tiny jobs like new earthing rods or wiring and fitting over-bed reading lamps. Dune is always ready for even small jobs. Or even to just call by and give advice. Building Control is always satisfied. Polite, smiling, clean & tidy. Just perfect. Use him!
