I had a section of damp-stained ceiling that needed redecorating. Mark managed to fit in the job at short notice and during the busy pre-Christmas period. He and his team were friendly and efficient, and the work was done to an excellent standard and at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended; I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

After seeking a number of quotations we chose The Painting Specialist as Mark was responsive, friendly and knowledgeable and could fit us in quickly at a very fair price. He even made a return visit before work started to help us finalise our paint order and choices, giving us the courage to be a bit bolder with our design decisions for which we're really pleased with. Rob from the team worked tirelessly and efficiently for the week, always keeping things clean and tidy. The two rooms and hallway are transformed and we're really pleased with the work done by The Painting Specialist.

Mark's team: Rob & Nurse, were real gentlemen. professional, down to earth and got on with the job quickly and efficiently. I was nervous leaving strangers in my apartment to redecorate while I was on vacation, but I needn't have worried. They also managed to keep an eye on my cat who had nowhere else to go, but made herself very welcome and joined in with them. I'm super pleased with the results, and really glad I listened to Mark's advice on colours and finishes. Highly recommended.

Mark is a very nice and trustworthy person, who has come to vacation on Slovakia but despite this he does work. I'm glad I could give him the keys to the flat to paint my kitchen and bathroom while I was at work. Mark quoted very competitively to paint three rooms in our house, including a fair amount of filling and repairs to cracks in the walls and ceilings. Rob undertook the work to a high standard, working hard and leaving us with three rooms decorated to a professional standard. The work was completed within the quote timescale.

Mark and Rob are the superlative Painting Specialist team. They sorted out my bathroom damp and mould problems, and the craftsmanship is top quality. So impressed was I that they then took on my hall which is long, narrow and dark. Rob did the painting, and Mark gave me indispensable advice about colour schemes and lighting. It is a joy to behold now! Rob was always prompt, polite and a delight to have around. Mark is gregarious, friendly and offers really good value for money. I can't recommend them highly enough.

They were highly professional from start to finish and did an excellent job - we are really pleased with the end result. Very impressed with these guys. Rob decorated the flat and was super efficient, neat, tidy and courteous. Finished ahead of schedule and in budget. Mark (owner) kept in touch and visited throughout and made sure we were happy.bGood pricing too and never a problem throughout. Comfortable leaving Rob in the flat with the keys for the week too; a great lad. Only downside is we've now got to eat the biscuits as Rob didn't touch them!

We got Mark in to paint our new, 5 bed house. He was not a personal recommendation (so we were hoping that our instinctive judgement would be proved right). Mark has been excellent. As well as doing a lovely job, we would highlight five things: he stayed in touch with us throughout and was friendly and easily contactable; his colleagues (in particular, the fantastic Rob) were great; he was upfront and realistic about timing; the final price stayed true to the quote - and finally, he takes a real pride in his work, keeping the place meticulously tidy throughout the job. After I'd been let down by two tradesmen, he arrived as arranged to see what the job involved, returned half an hour later with the necessary equipment, and did the job there and then. Mark also came up with some fantastic suggestions for wallpapering which I hadn't considered, which has now become my favourite feature wall in the flat. Mark and his team decorated my Living room recently. He gave a quick quote and fitted the job in quickly. They were very polite and reliable workers and covered the furniture and carpets with dust sheets and hoovered the room on finishing.
