Axe construction completed a single storey extension and garage conversion for us, Ed and George has been great to work with. From the start, he really took the time to understand the plans and what we wanted, the work was completed to a tight schedule and with great attention to detail. Will always turned up when promised and he went above and beyond to offer advice and his expertise, with great communication throughout. I have used Axe Construction to fix a serious issue on the floor of the living room of my house, which was keeping this room very cold. They were very knowledgeable in advising the right materials to stop the rising dump from the floor and impeccably installed every layer until the flooring with outstanding attention to detail. As a result, my living room is not only more beautiful but is also much warmer now. And last but not least, they completed the job in a timely manner: highly recommended.

I recently used Axe for my loft conversion and I have to say I was very impressed with them from the outset. Ed the project manager clearly knew what he was talking about and was able to come up with suggestions and guidance whenever a decision was needed. He provided an up-front itemised quote, and this was stuck to. The team of workmen led by Avram did an excellent job and I am very happy with the finished product. Avram in particular was a superstar: high quality workmanship, creative solutions to problems, hard-working and most importantly he takes a pride in his work as if it were his own house. Plus, he noticed a tiny leak in the roof unrelated to the project which he fixed at no extra charge. Recommended - I would use them again.

Axe Construction did some major external demolition, repair and resetting work for me on a property in Blackheath/Kidbrooke. They were excellent. Timely, considered, respectful; and the quality of the work exceeded my own expectations and those of my architect. We did come across some unexpected challenges along the way and they took these on in their stride. I will continue to use Axe Construction on future projects. I recommend them without hesitation.

Eduard turned up on time, in uniform, and had the plans we provided printed out and ready for discussion - something none of the others did. Axe’s quote was detailed and itemised. Eduard’s professionalism and transparency is what sold it to us. We were also given the opportunity to visit recently completed projects, which we did without Axe present, all with good reviews. The project itself went very smoothly. Axe clearly have high standards and are very reluctant to compromise those standards, which is great. We intend to use Axe for future work and are currently waiting on a quote for the next phase of our project.

I'd like personally to say thank you AXE Construction team for the recently completed rear house extension. What looked like relatively a straightforward job in the beginning, turned out to be quite problematic. However great communication and problem solving skills by project manager Ed. He helped not only complete the job as agreed by both parties but also ahead of schedule. I definitely recommend this company to everyone and should I require any future work to be done, I will ask AXE Construction.
