We're newbies to heat pumps and are in the process of deciding on which brand but we're based too far away (on south coast) from Heat Different to commission the work. I contacted them after seeing they install both brands we were looking at (Viessmann/ Stiebel Eltron) and their reviews were glowing. Even though Craig knew he wouldn't be able to tender for the work he was quick to offer and more than happy to advise us on the HP's we were considering and even looked over the quotes we'd received from our local installers to comment on.
The advice he's given us has alayed any concerns we had and confirmed our choices which, in a HP minefield has given us the confidence to proceed. I spotted Craig's sign written Vans on the A11 and was seeking air source heat installation for our multiple barn renovation. I contacted them (and a few others). Craig was first to turn up, he was really professional, knowledgeable, approachable and understood that we didn't know a thing about air source. We had 3 units installed and the whole team have done a fantastic job.
The installation was smooth, exceptionally neat, it works great so all our newbie fears have disappeared. I got all the paperwork through and the warranty. We love our underfloor air source heating, it is perfect, warm and easy to use. I'd certainly recommend Heat Different and would reassure anyone committing to a change in heating it is a breeze with their team.

Following a recommendation, we contacted Craig for a quote for a Viessmann Vitocal 151-A. The process from quote to the commissioning went through seamlessly. The team were always polite, knowledgeable and happy to explain what they were doing and how to use the system. The site was cleared of all rubbish in a timely manner. Over a month of running, we have achieved a COP of 4.71 across both heating and direct hot water. More than happy to recommend Craig and his team.

We recently had a domestic air source heat-pump installed by Heat Different. Right from the start we were impressed by how Craig surveyed our system with a view to installing the pump. The installation itself was very efficient with workmen turning up on time, working hard under cramped conditions inside and cold wet conditions outside. They were always extremely polite and pleasant to have in our home and cleared up thoroughly after.
All the rubbish produced from the installation and our old boiler were cleared from the site. The heat-pump itself turned out to be faulty and Heat Different were pro-active in getting a brand new replacement rather than a repair. The manufacturers engineer, during an on-site visit, said If we get a call from Heat Different I know that there really is a problem with the heat-pump - Heat Different know their product, how it works and how to set it up.
The heat pump itself is purring away quietly outside our backdoor and makes far less noise than our old boiler. We have plenty of hot water and the radiators upstairs (we have underfloor heating downstairs) although warm rather than hot are producing more than enough heat to heat the bedrooms on a frosty morning. In the recent (December 2022) cold snap we were warm and toasty, the heatpump working at an efficiency of at least 3 We do not hesitate to recommend Heat Different.

From inception of the project to install an air source heating system, through my own research of the market options to the eventual contract and installation, we found Heat Different professional, competitive and excellent to work with. The Viessmann product looks great too and the mobile management system makes keeping on top of the settings really easy. Overall we are delighted with our purchase and our choice of Heat Different as suppliers/installers/commissioners.

So I required a retro fit of a heat pump system into an old house with old plumbing. I wanted to discuss the best solution and all I got back was quotes from numerous suppliers for an installed system. I had lots of questions and issues to resolve and wanted to discuss. Heat Different spent time discussing the options and we came up with a plan. Craig and team were brilliant.
They use modern press fit plumbing, planned the plumbing before starting and did an excellent tight and clean install. We had an issue with a plate exchanger, that was not performing, they discussed and replaced with Viessmann without issue very quickly, cannot ask more. I have a Viessmann heat pump which is keenly priced and efficient. Sat here warm and cosy, I cannot recommend more. I have added some photos through the install, to give an idea (the plumbing was installed behind a cupboard as requested by an awkward customer).

When you work from home, have three dogs and quite frankly dread having a team of workmen in, the prospect of getting your heating system replaced makes your heart sink. I neednt have stressed. These guys were brilliant. They worked hard to get my heating in as quickly as possibly, kept me up to date with the progress and kept everywhere as clean and tidy as possible. But what really mattered to me, was how easy they were to have around. They were good fun, but unobtrusive and were really thoughtful and friendly with the dogs. Thanks guys and hurrah for getting finished before the beast from the east arrived!!! We are all toasty and warm!
