Electrical Inspections (EICR)
Periodic Inspections & Testing (Electrical Condition Report) All domestic electrical installations deteriorate due to a number of factors such as damage, wear, tear, corrosion, excessive electrical loading, ageing and environmental influences. It is therefore necessary to carry out periodic testing and inspecting of an installation. Legislation requires that electrical installations are maintained in a safe condition and therefore must be periodically inspected and tested. Licensing authorities, public bodies, insurance companies, mortgage lenders and others may require periodic testing and inspecting of an installation.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers
Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more popular, and JCE Contracting Ltd offers home charging solutions, requiring off-street parking to prevent trailing cables. Chargers are wired directly to a central metering unit, often with a dedicated circuit for safety and monitoring. JCE is approved to install chargers from manufacturers like Myenergi, Garo, HyperVolt, and BG SYNCEV. Were registered installers with the OZEV Grant. If you’re eligible for this grant, you can claim back up to £350 of your EV Charger installation.

Excellent service. Half our power went out late on a Saturday. We called Jerry who talked us through all options to see if a call out could be avoided. It couldn't, he was here in 45 minutes and the power back on with a clear explanation within 30 minutes. Very reasonably priced for an unsociable call out.

A massive thank you to Tom White for all the hard work he has completed for us in our property. Tom arrived on time each time, is very reliable and professional. Tom has completed various works for us; making the electrics safe, installing new sockets, installing an extractor fan in the bathroom and fitting additional lights throughout our property. We would 100% recommend and will be using him for any future works!
