Full Garden Design

We provide a fully bespoke garden design service, carefully tailored to your individual requirements so your outdoor space is both functional and visually refined. Our full garden design packages start from 2,500, with costs reflecting project size and complexity. The service includes surveys, concept designs, detailed plans, technical drawings, and planting schemes suitable for professional construction.

Garden Design consultation

A consultation provides the opportunity to review your garden in person and discuss realistic options for its development. We take time to understand your vision, financial expectations, and practical considerations. Clear, expert guidance is given to support future planning. You will then receive a written report outlining tailored recommendations. The service starts from 150 for a two-hour consultation, with the report included.

Planting Design

We personally select plants suited to your garden and arrange delivery before positioning everything precisely on site. This considered approach ensures the design is realised exactly as intended. Planting design fees start at 500, depending on project size and scope. Optional planting and site support services are available at 30 per hour.

We have recently been supported by Joanne in completing a sensory garden for our school. Joanne provided guidance on what types of plants would be best for this area and arranged the collection and delivery of these. She came along to school and showed the children how to plant and care for this area. Highly recommend Gerbera Designs. Having very little thought of what we wanted for a newly landscaped back garden Joanne was so helpful and designed a lovely plant layout. She undertook all planting with healthy, quality plants. We also received an after care plan for plant maintenance. Excellent communication and would use her services again.

Would highly recommends Gerbera Designs. Joanne worked on a great design for our garden and really pleased with the results of the design process. We are at the stage of awaiting work to start by the contractor but to date we have been really impressed with Joanne. Provided lots of input that we would not have considered and has probably avoided us making some expensive mistakes. Hopefully will be able to add pictures of the final product once complete.

I contacted Joanne from Gerbera Designs as I wanted to create a large border in my back garden. I’m not very knowledgeable so I was looking for plant suggestions as well as practical help. Joanne undertook an initial site visit and based on my budget we discussed my plant preferences and what would be most suitable for the soil and position of the border. Joanne then produced a mood board so that I could visualise the plan. She organised a contractor and ordered all the plants. At this point I asked her to provide some additional plants for another area of the garden and she was happy to provide this with an additional mood board.
The work was completed promptly with Joanne undertaking all the planting. She provided me with a plan for care of my plants for the first year.
Joanne was professional, knowledgeable, very approachable and was happy to adapt to the changes. The work remained within our agreed budget. I am delighted with my new borders and look forward to seeing them flourish
