Sika Sarnafil Single Ply
We provide Sika Sarnafil single-ply roofing solutions designed for roofs of all shapes and sizes. Sarnafil membranes have a BBA life expectancy exceeding 40 years for PVC and 25 years for FPO, while permanent joints are formed using hot-air fusion welding. Our completed installations undergo independent inspection to ensure they meet the manufacturers guidelines and guarantee requirements.
Our roof testing and surveying services are intended to provide a clear understanding of existing roofing conditions and potential defects. We investigate unexplained water ingress, assess newly installed waterproofing, examine roof build-ups and support lifecycle planning through targeted inspections. Using advanced diagnostic equipment and practical expertise, we produce structured reports that assist with informed technical decisions.
When restoring or repairing a flat roof, we favour Sika Sarnafil adhered systems where design flexibility, visual appearance and complex roof compatibility are key considerations. These systems can refurbish existing bitumen roofs and support renovation work required for relevant building standards. Our survey identifies the appropriate solution, taking account of structural loading, U-Values, fire resistance, wind uplift and drainage requirements.
Where a roof has reached the end of its service life, continued repairs may no longer be practical or economical. Following a comprehensive survey, serious deterioration may indicate that a complete strip and rebuild is required. We renew the system to current standards and can correct original design or material deficiencies. Thermal insulation may also be upgraded.
We offer Bauder single-ply systems that combine durability with practical installation benefits. Thermofol PVC is suitable for new-build, refurbishment and green roof projects, while Thermoplan T FPO provides a plasticiser-, halogen- and heavy-metal-free option. The FPO system is resistant to chemicals and micro-organisms, dimensionally stable, recyclable and designed to provide a long life expectancy.
