Thatcham Glass Centre offer a comprehensive glazing service, delivered by our experienced glazing team, who are fully insured for your peace of mind. With our considerable 60 years' experience catered to a range of organisations, we recognise the importance of your organisation's glazing needs. Throughout our years of trading, we have worked with various clients, including churches, schools and colleges, retail outlets, salons, local shops/businesses, estate agents, office blocks, hospitals, factory units, pubs, and housing associations; as well as alongside local tradesmen and insurance organisations.

Toughened Glass or tempered glass is the most popular form of safety glass - Used to meet building regulations in doors and windows. Therefore, in certain circumstances, toughened glass will be a requirement and the consumer may not have a choice on whether to use it or not. Toughened Glass will be stamped in one corner, which is in accordance to building regulations, and we cannot stop this stamp from being put on. However, if the glass is being used for furniture purposes a smaller 'furniture stamp' can be requested.

Secondary Aluminium glazing (Secondaries) is a slimline window that is discreetly installed onto the inside of your existing window. These are designed to increase the acoustic and thermal insulation, while also helping to offer an additional element of further security. Each window is made to measure and can be customised in style, function or colour to follow the designs of your primary windows. While Secondaries are often used in heritage or listed buildings, we can also offer this product to any property wanting to enhance the performance of their single, double or triple glazed unit.
